Kerala cuisine is wonderful-tasty and not too hot- rice and coconut based, vegetarian but with fish if requested. The spring water is pure and safe. Traditionally the feel of the food is as important as its taste or smell, and so is eaten with the hands. Of course, if this is not for you, cutlery is available.
